Project Description
Washington County’s Kaolin Park is a cornerstone of the local community, hosting countless baseball games each season. To elevate the playing experience and reduce the massive maintenance burden of natural dirt, Advanced Sports Group was brought in to modernize the facility.
In 2026, we executed a comprehensive conversion of five baseball infields, installing nearly 70,000 square feet of Shaw TruHop synthetic turf. TruHop is engineered specifically for baseball, replicating the speed and bounce of a professional natural surface while eliminating the need for dragging, watering, and chalking. The transformation has been a game-changer for Sandersville. Tournaments will run smoother,rain delays are nonexistent, and the county has significantly reduced its operational costs, all while providing a beautiful, pro-level surface for its players.
