Project Description

In 2025, Advanced Sports Group completed a full natural-to-synthetic turf conversion at Banks County High School in Homer, GA. The leopards enjoyed a great football season and we hope to watch many more. Additionally this project included renovation of the track that encircles the field.

Key scopes of work included:

  • Full field excavation and grading

  • Advanced drainage and base system installation for optimal water management

  • Custom Shaw Sports Turf synthetic playing surface installation

  • Precision laser-grading for consistent performance across the field

By switching from natural grass to synthetic turf, the Panthers gained:

  • Reduced maintenance costs and water usage

  • Improved field durability for high-volume usage and weather resistance

  • Consistent playability for both highschool games and community events

  • Faster turnaround times between events, even after rain
