Project Overview
Brook Run Park, one of the largest parks in the metro Atlanta area, needed a versatile and durable solution for its high-traffic athletic fields. The City of Dunwoody partnered with Advanced Sports Group to design and construct a premier multi-use sports complex that could serve the community’s diverse recreational needs for years to come. Our mission was to deliver a low-maintenance, high-performance surface that could withstand constant use while providing a safe and beautiful space for residents to enjoy.
The ASG Solution: Performance and Durability
We installed 148,000 square feetof Shaw Sports Turf’s Momentumproduct, a premium synthetic turf system known for its resilience and natural appearance. This state-of-the-art turf provides a consistent playing surface for a variety of sports, including soccer, lacrosse, and community events, without the constant maintenance and weather-related issues of natural grass.
Our scope of work included:
•Full site preparationand grading to ensure proper drainage and a stable foundation.
•Expert installationof the Shaw Sports Turf Momentum system across multiple fields.
•Infill applicationto provide optimal shock absorption and player safety.
